Why is my tool smoking and smells like burning hair?
Most power tools have whats know as brushes (carbons) They transmit electricity to the armature causing it to magnetize and turn. When the brushes ware down which is normal after time and heat the armature and cause it to smoke. This can also be caused by abusing your tool and pushing it to hard! remember a cordless drill is not made to turn a 4'' hole saw!!!!!!If either of these things happen please contact an authorized service center for repair.
